About the Fleck Heads

Fleck 5600 control heads are used in over 2,000,000 softeners systems worldwide! These heads are known for their simple but highly effective design which provides years of carefree use. It's record for performance and dependability stems from its unique piston - seal - spacer design. The Teflon coated piston's hollow center equalizes the pressure internally between the upper and lower valve cavities. Because the piston is hydraulically balanced, its movement during regeneration requires less water pressure and thus, less effort from the motor.
