Size a submersible pump sounds like an overwhelming thing to do. But in reality, as long as you have the basic information, it's not that hard to do.

Determine TDH (Total Dynamic Head)

Step One: Pipe Friction Loss = total length (X) friction loss (straight pipe) factor + friction loss (fittings)

Friction loss = _____’ Head Pressure

Step Two: Desired Operating Pressure. Convertise PSI in to TDH ( PSI x 2.31 )
